Each year the Benevolent Irish Society awards three prizes to students for projects related to Irish or Gaelic Culture and Heritage .

Approximately 162 students in Grades 5 through 9 from 23 schools across the province presented 125 heritage fair projects on various aspects of Canadian heritage and culture. More than 2,000 students throughout the province participated in the Heritage Fair program during the 2022-2023 school year.
