About the event
We are pleased to present "Richard WOOD & Friends", the finale of four original shows to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Benevolent Irish Society on PEI.
For over 30yrs, 5x ECMA, 6x MusicPEI award-winner, Richard WOOD has blown away soldout audiences around the globe with his traditional-borne, fiery-brand of Celtic music. Of his many career highlights, he is most proud to have entertained our Armed Forces in the North Pole, Bosnia & twice in Afghanistan.
Joining Richard will be:
Brent Chaisson (Guitar), who grew up in eastern PEI immersed in traditional fiddle music.
Diaga Performance Group (Irish Dance), who are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and who have performed their exciting choreography locally and internationally.
