About the event
We are pleased to present "Richard WOOD & Friends", one of four original shows to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Benevolent Irish Society on PEI.
For over 30yrs, 5x ECMA, 6x MusicPEI award-winner, Richard WOOD has blown away soldout audiences around the globe with his traditional-borne, fiery-brand of Celtic music.
Career Highlights include performances with Shania Twain, the Chieftains; at places like Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Centre; and on programs like The Tonight Show, and Good Morning America. Richard is most proud to have entertained our Armed Forces in the North Pole, Bosnia, and twice in Afghanistan.
Joining Richard will be:
Colette Cheverie (Singer) & Zak Cormier (Guitar), who share a love for Celtic Music and who both graduated from Holland College's SoPA program.
